video – are you bored

I’ve had a toothache that’s been keeping me up at night, and despite paying way too much for cable tv there was nothing on and I got WAYYYY bored. I recently picked up an Aiptek A-HD camcorder for $130 at Walgreens of all places. Now you get what you pay for so my expectations weren’t high. But in daylight conditions the picture is stunning, and you can connect it to your HDTV for playback if you want to. It records to .MOV format, but I digress.

I wanted to test the resolution in low light conditions and saw my lava lamp sitting on my desk and figured what the hell. It’s not HD, but what can you expect from a blocked 20W light bulb. So if you’re as bored as I was, and obviously I was extremely bored, put this video on a loop, ingest whatever you prefer, and enjoy!

 OK, we live and work in NASCAR country, and we see firsthand the passion NASCAR fans have for their sport. And yes, NASCAR is not as interesting to me since Dale Earnhardt died in the Daytona 500. But damn, I’m not from here and I just don’t get this!!!

If you knew this guy wouldn’t you have made him keep going once he carved the 3 into his back hair, thinking he was just kidding? And ladies, if you were his wife or girlfriend would you really have let him out of the house? Or once he was out of the house, let him take his shirt off? And if you’re the person or people sitting BEHIND this guy wouldn’t you feel compelled to make him put his shirt back on, or try and move your seat, or throw up, or leave?
